Watercolor of girl with flowers and pots
I recently moved from Waco, Texas to Windsor, Colorado. This little angel is my great-niece, Alex, who lives in Colorado. I took several photos of her and used them to compose this painting.

"Easter Angel"
24" X 18 " $1000

Art has always been the focus of my life.  I majored in art in college, first at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and then at Texas Tech in Lubbock, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree. Most of my career was spent designing and producing art for industry. Later, I taught in the art department at Texas State Technical College in Waco and, upon retirement, I taught watercolor classes for seven years in the Continuing Education School at Baylor University. More recently, I taught watercolor classes at The Art Center in Waco, Texas.
I am a member of the Central Texas Watercolor Society in Waco, where I have enjoyed many workshops, taught by both local and national artists.  Among the national artists, my favorites have been Polly Hammett, Frank Webb, Cheng Kee Chee, Ken Hosmer and Diane Maxey. I have recently joined the Art Guild of Colorado and look forward to many exciting new experiences with them.
Painting for solo shows keeps me busy. Here are some of the locations:

Windsor Library, Windsor, Colorado
Studio Gallery, Waco, Texas
The Smith Gallery, Scott & White Hospital, Temple, Texas
Vive Le Arts Performing Arts Center, Killeen, Texas
The Cultural Activities Center, Temple, Texas
The Civic Theatre, Waco, Texas
The Salon at Ridgewood Village, Waco

Painting of Purple Cows
I love to paint animals in outlandish colors.
The cows near my house in Waco posed for this painting. You can see it in the hallway at Good Samaritan.

"Purple Cows",
22" X 30" $450
